Access from Prague
alternative No. 1 via Jablonec nad Nisou (approx. 80 minutes)
- motorway R10 (starts at the junction with the Prague Ring in Černý Most), direction Liberec, Turnov, Harrachov till EXIT 71(junction Turnov)
- from here on, use the motorway R35, direction Liberec, Jablonec nad Nisou
- at EXIT 33 turn direction Jablonec nad Nisou, follow the main road 65 till Jablonec
- from Jablonec, use the main road 14, direction Tanvald, Harrachov via Lučany nad Nisou and Smržovka to Tanvald to the roundabout with main road 10
- from here on, follow direction Harrachov, after you pass through the center of Tanvald, you reach Desná
- in Desná, keep the main road passing through the center, direction Harrachov nerly to the end of Desná
- passing the detour to Souš keep on the main road direction Harrachov, approx. after next 50 meters you will see the arrow to the pension Hluboký potok (detour to the right), the pension is located after next 50 meters on the left side
Access from Prague
alternative No. 2 via the Bohemian Paradise and Železný Broc (approx. 100 minutes)
- same start as alternative No. 1, however at EXIT 71 you still keep the direction Turnov directly and at the next exit from the motorway use the main road 10 direction Harrachov
- via Malá Skála to Železný Brod, keep on the direction Tanvald, Harrachov
- on the main road 10 via Držkov, Plavy and Velké Hamry to Tanvald to the roundabout with main road 14
- from here on, follow the description of alternative No. 1
Access from Liberec and the German boundary
- use the main road 14 direction Jablonec nad Nisou, Tanvald, Harrachov
- from Jablonec nad Nisou via Lučany nad Nisou and Smržovka to Tanvald - the itinerary is described above, see the Access from Prague, alternative No. 1
Access from Harrachov and the Polish boundary
- in Harrachov, use the main road 10, direction Praha, Tanvald
- after passing through Kořenov (uprising approx. 3 Km) keep on the direction Praha, then going dow through the turnings to Desná
- after passing the first sharp turning in Desná, you reach the left detour to the pension Hluboký potok, the pension is located after next 50 meters on the left side

Desná is located on the route of high distance bus lines from Prague and also local lines from the vicinity. The closest bus stop Desná, odbočka is about 100 meters from the pension.
The railway stop Kořenov on the route 036 (Liberec-Tanvald-Harrachov) is located approx. 200 meters from the pension. The nearest train station is in Tanvald (approx. 3 Km); here you can interchange to other railway routes. On the opposite direction, you can also keep on travelling using one of the longest railway tunnels in the Czech Republic to Kořenov and Harrachov from the Kořenov stop.
